About The Position
PARS Therapy is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist in the Hutto, Texas area to contribute to an interdisciplinary, patient-centered care model and help develop a collaborative, high-performing therapy team. The role delivers direct speech therapy services according to physician orders and each patient’s individualized Plan of Care. The position is onsite and listed as PRN.
Requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and an active license to practice in Texas.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Proficiency with clinical documentation systems and related software for reporting and patient records.
- Understanding of and adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
- Experience managing confidential and sensitive patient information with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to speech therapy tools and digital platforms.
- Ability to perform duties primarily in a standing position.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication skills, particularly when explaining procedures and treatment plans.
- Strong accountability, accuracy, and attention to detail in documentation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders and individualized Plans of Care.
- Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises and activities tailored to patients’ communication goals.
- Provide counseling, education, and support to patients and their families throughout treatment.
- Establish measurable goals and track patient progress, identifying improvements and ongoing challenges.
- Set up, use, and sterilize speech therapy equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Review patient records before sessions to prepare a personalized treatment approach.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current with developments in speech-language pathology.
