About The Position

DPS Home Health Agency Inc. is seeking caring, dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. We offer flexible scheduling, supportive clinical leadership, and opportunities for professional growth. As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you will complete comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide skilled nursing treatments. You will educate patients and caregivers and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient outcomes.

Requirements

Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of nursing experience is preferred.
Home health experience is an asset but is not required.
Experience in one or more of the following: Intensive care unit (ICU) or step-down care, Home health, Wound care, IV therapy, Chronic disease management, Diabetes education, Tracheostomy care, Gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care.

Responsibilities

Complete comprehensive patient assessments.
Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition.
Provide wound care and other skilled nursing interventions.
Educate patients, family members, and caregivers on disease management, medications, and home care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and company policies.
