About The Position

This position covers the East Side region, including St. Clair Shores and specific ZIP codes in Detroit, as well as additional coverage areas like Eastpointe, Roseville, Harper Woods, Hamtramck, and Grosse Pointe areas. Candidates should be comfortable with daily driving throughout the territory. As a Home Health RN, you'll never have the same day twice. Our nurses care for patients with a wide range of needs and conditions, including wound care and wound vac management, diabetes education and management, feeding tubes and other specialized treatments, chronic disease management, medication teaching and compliance, post-acute and complex medical patients, and comprehensive patient and caregiver education. You'll serve as both a skilled clinician and case manager, coordinating care and helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes at home. Full-Time and Part-Time openings are available for a Day Shift with flexible scheduling between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This is a salary-based position with additional earnings through a 6-point productivity system. You will manage your own daily schedule, with charting required within 24 hours of patient visits. Significant local travel within the assigned territory is expected, with one weekend per month and holiday rotation (1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday annually).

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
Knowledge of computer use for electronic documentation.
Current driver's license, satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift, carry, transport, and move clients as needed.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of nine months to one year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities
