Now Hiring Home Health RN Clinical Manager Office location: Federal Way Office, in office full time. Ability to support staff in King County/East King County.

Requirements

  • Requires a current state license (Washington) as an RN
  • Requires two years’ experience within the last five years in a Home Health agency primary care clinic, or health facility.
  • Must possess working knowledge of state and federal home health regulations.
  • Excellent verbal, written and computer literacy skills in Outlook, Word and Excel at a minimum.
  • Direct patient care as needed.
  • Ability to maintain assigned work hours: Has sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods of work hours.
  • Ability to travel to all business locations

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the supervision and oversight of clinical staff and care delivery in compliance with federal state and local regulations and accreditation standards and adherence to budget goals.
  • Performs clinical supervision of patient care consistent with scientific principals and agency policy and procedures.
  • Responsible for the supervision and delegation of appropriate clinical staff and the maintenance of quality of patient care under federal, state and local regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Responsible for the supervision of clinical staff and the maintenance of compliant clinical documentation under federal, state and local regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Interviews, monitors, coaches and supervises clinical personnel
  • Evaluates clinical employees in annual performance including effective clinical acumen, professional development and evaluations regarding continued employment, discipline and pay increase considerations.
  • Exercises authority to initiate and execute disciplinary actions (formal and informal) with employees, including warnings (verbal and written) suspensions and effective recommendation of additional discipline, up to and including discharge.
  • Coordinates referrals and evaluates acuity and clinical resources necessary.
  • Responsible for effective utilization of staff including assignment, reassignment of duties.
  • Delegates assignment of clients appropriately.
  • Coordinates assignments and evaluates appropriateness of client care.
  • Monitors and intermittently audits clinical documentation for consistency, timeliness of completeness and accuracy and assures the development of, implementation and updating of the individualized plan of care.
  • Assures that client care conferences are conducted documented
  • Assesses and arranges for staff in-service needs and participates in in-service programs.
  • Manages and assists with clinical onboarding, and continuous training.
  • Reviews, contributes and regularly monitors the development of clinical personnel qualifications and personnel policies consistent with state and federal scope of practice.
  • Participates in required clinical team conferences
  • Provides clinical nursing visits as necessary
