About The Position
Interim HealthCare®, the nation’s first home care company, is hiring Home Health RNs who want to experience nursing on a whole new level, where care is personal and the perks are exceptional. As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you will provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases—often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility. You will work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs, and aides providing patient care. You will examine patients, do assessments, document progress and report changes to their physician. You will educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet and exercise. You will also coach family members on the patient’s plan of care, medication and home safety. Ensure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Colorado
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school or program
- At least 1200 hours of experience as an RN
- Health care CPR/BLS Certified (demonstration course required)
- Pass a background check and drug test (which includes testing for THC)
- No Covid Vaccination Required
