About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health care in Dallas, Texas. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician’s plan of care, the PTA supports patients in restoring mobility, improving functional independence, and enhancing quality of life. The role delivers personalized care incorporating prevention, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation to help patients regain independence and thrive in daily life.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas.
• Current CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt care approaches to various patient personalities.
• Solid understanding of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.
• Professional and compassionate approach to educating and engaging with patients.

• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services in patients’ homes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician’s plan of care.
• Assist in identifying patient goals and implement interventions to address functional and mobility needs.
• Provide evidence-based, cost-effective treatments that promote movement and independence.
• Support alternatives to surgery and reduce reliance on medications through therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and carry out individualized care plans using a variety of proven treatment techniques.
• Create wellness and fitness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation and recovery.
• Promote overall health by improving strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Monitor patient progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and communicate updates to the supervising therapist and care team.
• Accurately document services provided and maintain timely, complete patient records.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising therapist or clinical manager.
