About The Position

The Home Health Occupational Therapist works one-on-one with patients in their homes, empowering them to live safely and productively and complete the daily activities they want and need to do. The therapist helps patients and families adapt their environments, modify tasks, and use equipment to increase participation in daily activities and improve quality of life. The role is part of Compassus’s home-care team and its patient- and teammate-centered culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent or declination.
• Two years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Therapy skills consistent with generally accepted standards of practice.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment.

Responsibilities
