Home Health Nurse- LPN/ RN
About The Position
Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1:1 private duty nursing in patients’ homes. You’ll deliver skilled, personalized care to pediatric and adult patients in a low-stress, relationship-based setting. Our client is a 25 year old male who is non-mobile, stays in a hospital bed in the living room, and requires ongoing trach, ventilator, and g-tube management. He was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy characterized by multiple types of seizures that typically begin in early childhood. The client’s wife is known for being exceptionally kind and easy to work with, fostering a respectful professional atmosphere. The home is very clean and pet free.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Nice To Haves
- Home care or private duty experience preferred
- Trach/vent experience a plus (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care (trach/vent care, medication administration, catheter care)
- Monitor and document patient condition and vital signs
- Communicate with families and care teams
- Maintain safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
- Trach, ventilator, and g-tube management for a patient with Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome
