About The Position
Varco Home Health is hiring a Home Health LVN to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients’ homes in Dallas, Texas, and surrounding areas. The role involves delivering care according to the plan of care, helping patients maintain independence and improve their quality of life, and coordinating with the care team. This PRN position offers a flexible, self-managed schedule and pays $45 per visit.
Requirements
- Active Texas LVN license.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to patient needs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience.
- Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled in-home nursing visits based on the plan of care.
- Perform vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and catheter care.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager.
- Educate patients and caregivers on medications, safety, and disease management.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the care team.
