About The Position
Varco Home Health is hiring a PRN Home Health LVN to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients’ homes in Galveston, Texas, and surrounding areas. The role supports patients in maintaining independence and improving quality of life. The position offers a flexible, self-managed schedule and work in the field, with consistent patient volume available. Compensation is $45 per visit.
Requirements
- Active Texas LVN license.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and adapt to patient needs.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience.
- Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled in-home nursing visits based on the plan of care.
- Perform vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and catheter care.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN Case Manager.
- Educate patients and caregivers on medications, safety, and disease management.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with the care team.
