About The Position
BrightStar Care of Edinburg is looking for compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide skilled home health nursing care to patients in the Rio Grande Valley. We’re looking for Skilled LVNs who are confident providing one-on-one nursing care in the home setting.
Requirements
- Active Texas LVN license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB test
- Reliable and compassionate
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred
- Clinical experience with: Wound care & wound VAC, IV antibiotic administration, Foley catheter care, Venipuncture & lab draws, Ostomy care, Medication administration, Adult & pediatric patients
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled home health nursing care to patients in the Rio Grande Valley.
- Provide one-on-one nursing care in the home setting.
- Wound care & wound VAC
- IV antibiotic administration
- Foley catheter care
- Venipuncture & lab draws
- Ostomy care
- Medication administration
- Care for adult & pediatric patients
- Electronic point-of-care charting
- On-call rotation
