About The Position
BrightStar Care of Edinburg is looking for compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide skilled home health nursing care to patients in the Rio Grande Valley. We are looking for skilled LVNs who are confident providing one-on-one nursing care in the home setting. Requirements
- Active Texas LVN license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB test
- Reliable and compassionate
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled home health nursing care to patients in the Rio Grande Valley.
- Provide one-on-one nursing care in the home setting.
- Perform wound care & wound VAC.
- Administer IV antibiotics.
- Provide Foley catheter care.
- Perform venipuncture & lab draws.
- Provide ostomy care.
- Administer medications.
- Provide care to adult & pediatric patients.
- Perform electronic point-of-care charting.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
