About The Position

Join Our Team as a Caregiver and Brand Ambassador. Are you a natural "people person" who loves meeting new people and bringing energy to every room you enter? At Interim HealthCare, we are looking for a dedicated caregiver who acts as a true brand ambassador—someone who doesn’t just provide care, but actively engages our clients in life’s best moments. In this role, you will provide essential one-on-one care in the comfort of a client's home, and engage with other residents of the retirement community. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives on social interaction and has a passion for getting others involved in activities, hobbies, and community.

Requirements

The Connector Personality: You genuinely enjoy meeting new people and have the communication skills to build instant rapport.
Dementia Experience: You know how to pivot and engage clients with memory loss in a patient, creative way.
The Essentials: High school diploma, at least 1 year of healthcare experience (preferred),
Reliability: Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and dependable transportation.
Physicality: A compassionate nature and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Represent the Gold Standard: Act as the face of Interim HealthCare, providing compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) that helps seniors live safely and with dignity.
Be a Social Catalyst: Beyond companionship, you’ll actively engage clients in activities that bring them joy—think puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies—keeping them mentally and socially active.
Support Independence: Assist with "big picture" daily living like light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation, all while maintaining a positive, upbeat environment.
Clinical Excellence: Help with ambulation and range of motion, provide medication reminders, and document conditions to ensure total safety.
