About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking a Home Health and Hospice Sales Professional for Jackson, Michigan, and surrounding areas. The role promotes AdvisaCare’s home health and hospice services and builds referral relationships with healthcare providers. The position offers a base salary with incentive compensation and is full-time, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least two years of sales experience in healthcare or a related industry.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative and work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate Medicare, home health, and hospice services effectively to all levels of the healthcare delivery team.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory and to sales meetings.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a health-related science, such as nursing or pharmacy.
• Knowledge of the service needs of physicians, hospitals, case management, and discharge planning.
• Strong existing relationships with referral partners in the service area.

Responsibilities

• Make sales calls to physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facility management, discharge planners, and case managers to generate referrals for home health and hospice services.
• Build and maintain client relationships by learning about their needs and identifying ways to exceed them.
• Prepare business plans and maintain target lists.
