Home Health Aide
About The Position
VillageCare is seeking motivated and passionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) for consistent full-time schedules. This role involves providing personal care services and medication assistance according to resident care plans. HHAs are responsible for accurate and timely documentation of resident care and for communicating any changes in resident condition to supervisors. VillageCare offers a wide range of at-home and community-based services, as well as managed long-term care options, with a commitment to superior outcomes in quality health care.
Requirements
- Valid HHA certification in the State of New York
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Strong passion for working with the elderly and patient-centered care
- Outstanding communication skills
- Consistency in demeanor and dependability
- Must reside within the New York Tri-State Area - NY, NJ, or CT.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Assisted Living or similar experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services according to the resident's plan of care.
- Provide medication assistance.
- Complete all resident documentation at the end of each shift in an accurate, concise, and legible manner.
- Monitor residents and communicate any changes to the supervisor.
