About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is currently seeking experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) with reliable transportation to provide one-on-one private duty care for clients throughout Suffolk County, NY including towns in Bay Shore, Hauppuage and more. Requirements
- At least 1 year of HHA experience
- Valid New York State HHA Certificate
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Physical exam within the last 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year, or chest X-ray within 5 years
- MMR immunization within 10 years
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Offer medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping
- Prepare meals
- Provide companionship and emotional support
