Home Health Aide - Start This Week - We Train Free

Haven Home Care•Lakemore, OH

About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio. The start time varies based on your background and qualifications. There are four paths to becoming a Home Health Aide: STNA path (1-3 days), HHA Certificate path (5-8 days), Experience path (5-8 days after verification), and a Free Training path (1-2 weeks). All paths lead to the same job, clients, and support. The role involves assisting elderly clients with daily living activities in their homes, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, and errands. This is a physical role requiring the aide to be on their feet and assist clients with mobility. Home Health Aides do not administer medication or perform medical tasks. The company emphasizes that this role is a calling for those who genuinely care about the elderly community, not just for a paycheck, due to the dependency of clients on their aides. The company hires based on client needs and the aide's stated travel limits and preferences. Shifts can range from 2-3 hours to 8 hours, and aides typically have 2-4 regular clients per week to reach 20+ hours. "Flexible" refers to the agreed-upon working days and times, not the ability to call off arbitrarily. Federal law requires verification of identity and work authorization.
