About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio. The start time varies based on your background: STNA license holders can start in 1-3 days, those with an HHA certificate (30+ hours) or 1+ year of experience working under an RN or LPN can start in 5-8 days, and individuals new to caregiving can start in 1-2 weeks after completing free training. All paths lead to the same job, clients, and support. The role involves assisting elderly clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, and companionship. It is a physical role requiring the aide to be on their feet most of the day and assist clients with mobility. Aides do not administer medication or perform medical tasks. The company emphasizes that this is a calling for those who genuinely care about the elderly community, as clients depend on their consistent presence. The job requires a driver's license, a reliable car with insurance, passing background checks, working at least 20 hours per week, and being available between 6 AM and 8 PM, with most work occurring between 8 AM and 5 PM. Requirements

• Driver's license
• Your own car with insurance that covers work driving

• STNA license (active or expired) OR HHA certificate (30+ hours, signed by RN unless online) OR 1+ year of experience working under an RN or LPN at a qualifying facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as baths, getting dressed, meals, light cleaning, and companionship.
• Help clients move around.
• Be on your feet most of the day.
• Follow policies.
• Accept clients that match the limits you gave us.
• Report incidents within 24 hours.
• Get good feedback from clients.
• Do not be the reason a client leaves Haven.
• Answer office calls and texts quickly.
• Send updated documents when we ask (insurance, license, training).
• Complete feedback forms when sent.
