About The Position
Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is looking to hire a part-time Home Health Aide to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients around the Buffalo area. This caregiver position earns a competitive wage of $19-22/hr. Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Current valid driver's license
- 18 years of age
- Willing to travel up to 25 miles
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
- Willing to train you.
- Enjoy working with seniors.
- Can provide compassionate elderly care and companionship.
- Can maintain a positive attitude while helping with household tasks.
Responsibilities
- Help clients manage daily living tasks within their homes.
- Provide cheerful companionship.
- Assist with laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
- Provide non-medical care in a manner that preserves client dignity.
- Help clients bathe and maintain their personal hygiene.
- Provide caregiving services for clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift.
- Keep the office updated on any changes to clients’ care.
