About The Position

Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is looking to hire a part-time Home Health Aide to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients around the Buffalo area. This caregiver position earns a competitive wage of $19-22/hr. Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Current valid driver's license
  • 18 years of age
  • Willing to travel up to 25 miles

Nice To Haves

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
  • Willing to train you.
  • Enjoy working with seniors.
  • Can provide compassionate elderly care and companionship.
  • Can maintain a positive attitude while helping with household tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients manage daily living tasks within their homes.
  • Provide cheerful companionship.
  • Assist with laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
  • Provide non-medical care in a manner that preserves client dignity.
  • Help clients bathe and maintain their personal hygiene.
  • Provide caregiving services for clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments.
  • Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift.
  • Keep the office updated on any changes to clients’ care.
