Home Health Aide
About The Position
Griswold Care in Eden Prairie is looking to hire a Part-time Home Health Aide to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients. This role involves assisting senior clients with daily living tasks within their homes, providing cheerful companionship, and helping with various responsibilities such as laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. The Home Health Aide will provide non-medical care, assisting clients with bathing and personal hygiene, and may occasionally provide caregiving services for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Accurate documentation at the end of each shift is required to keep the office updated on client care changes.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Current Valid Driver's License
- Car Insurance
- Willing to travel up to 25 miles
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
- Willing to train you.
- Enjoy working with seniors.
- Feel you can provide compassionate elderly care and companionship.
- Can maintain a positive attitude while helping with household tasks.
Responsibilities
