About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate full-time caregiver to provide in-home support and help clients remain safe and independent. The work includes personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and assistance with daily activities. Weekend availability is required. Shift lengths range from 1 to 12 hours. One-hour shifts pay $30 per hour, two-hour shifts pay $22.50 per hour, and shifts of three hours or longer pay a base rate of $19–$22 per hour, depending on experience. Requirements

Be compassionate, patient, and caring.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Have experience providing hands-on care in a setting such as Home Health, Assisted Living, a Group Home, or a Hospital.
Have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Have a negative TB test or cleared chest X-ray.
Be available to work two weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients’ lives.
Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Provide physical assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, providing transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, and needs.
Communicate with the RN Case Manager as a member of the care coordination team to update the plan of care.
