About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring CERTIFIED Home Health Aides for 4-12 hour shifts in Nassau County and Queens. Cases are available immediately. The ideal candidate must have an active Home Health Aide Certification, a current physical exam and blood work, and be available for an interview/orientation and ready to start right away. Driving is a plus. Requirements

• Minimum one year of work-related experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board
• Active Home Health Aide Certification
• Current physical exam and blood work
• Available for interview/orientation and ready to start right away

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living (Adls)
• Light housekeeping

• Nail care
• Range of motion/exercises
• Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
