About The Position
Capitol View Home Health is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care throughout Washington, DC. We offer hourly cases with flexible scheduling, giving you the opportunity to work around your availability while making a real difference in the lives of clients who want to remain safe and independent at home.
Requirements
- Active Washington, DC Home Health Aide (HHA) license required
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
Nice To Haves
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Home care experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Help with walking, transfers, and mobility
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Report changes in the client’s condition to the supervising nurse
