About The Position
Home Health Aide (HHA) – PRN. Empath Personal Care, a part of Empath Health, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aides (PRN) to serve patients in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and Palm Harbor within their homes. This position offers Competitive Pay on a weekly basis.
Requirements
- Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License) or HHA Certification.
- CPR certification (in-house classes available if needed).
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and operate a motor vehicle within the service area.
- Valid Florida Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of six (6) months of healthcare or home health experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities to patients in their homes.
- Support patients’ comfort, dignity, and independence through individualized care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated service.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical staff.
- Travel within the assigned service area to deliver care as scheduled.
