About The Position

Centria Healthcare is actively seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Home Health Aides (HHA) to join their team. This role involves providing essential in-home support to individuals, enabling them to maintain safety, comfort, and independence within their private home settings. Caregivers will work one-on-one with clients, addressing their unique care needs. Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Clear Background Check
  • Negative TB Test Results
  • Proof of Auto Insurance (with your name listed on the policy)
  • Must be comfortable assisting with personal care tasks
  • Reliable, patient, and attentive to individual needs
  • Comfortable working in a private home setting
  • Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Comfortable using tablets/computers for documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow all care protocols
  • Ability to address minor medical concerns as they arise

Nice To Haves

  • CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred
  • Experience working with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients strongly desired

Responsibilities

  • Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls
  • Provide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing
  • Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed
  • Prepare light snacks or drinks upon request
  • Offer companionship and emotional reassurance throughout the shift
  • Assist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfort
  • Document and report changes in client condition promptly
  • Respond to emergencies following proper procedures
  • Perform duties as outlined in the patient’s plan of care
  • Monitor client’s physical and mental condition, intake/output, and exercise
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy care environment
  • Follow professional standards, care policies, and local/state/federal requirements
