About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a home health aide to provide care to clients in their own homes in northern Westchester. This is a field position where you will travel to clients' homes. Hiring, onboarding, and support are handled by our UniversaCare of Northern Westchester office. The pay rate ranges from $19.65 to $25 per hour, with the starting rate being New York's home health aide minimum wage, which increases annually. Both part-time and full-time schedules are available.

Requirements

• A current New York State Home Health Aide certificate
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and moving safely around the home
• Prepare meals and help clients eat
• Keep the home clean and safe, including light housekeeping and laundry
• Follow each client’s plan of care and report changes to your nurse supervisor
