Requirements
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification
- Compassionate and dependable
- Ability to work independently in clients' homes
- Reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting
- Provide incontinence care and support with mobility and transfers
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration as directed
- Encourage participation in memory games and engaging activities
- Provide medication reminders for self-administered medications
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
- Monitor client well-being and communicate concerns to the Care Manager
- Complete daily care documentation
