About The Position

Requirements
- Current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing (for experienced CHHA positions).
- Previous caregiving or home health experience (when required for the position).
- Able to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
- Comfortable working independently with clients.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful.
- Passionate about helping others.
- Committed to providing quality care.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients with dressing and personal hygiene.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Make beds and assist with other household tasks.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers.
- Perform range-of-motion exercises.
- Conduct vital sign checks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help clients maintain their independence at home.
