About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to join their ACSP Division. They are looking for individuals who want to help people remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Opportunities are available for both experienced CHHAs and those looking to start a career in home care, with training available for qualified candidates. The role involves providing one-on-one care based on a written plan under the direction of a registered nurse.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful

- Able to travel to clients' homes as assigned
- Comfortable working independently with clients
- A current CHHA/HHA credential in good standing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing (for experienced CHHAs)
- Previous caregiving or home health experience, when required for the position (for experienced CHHAs)
Nice To Haves
- Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcome, but not always required.
- Training may be available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care based on a written plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Dressing and personal hygiene
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Medication reminders
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Bed making and other household tasks
- Assistance with ambulation and transfers
- Range-of-motion exercises
- Vital sign checks
- Companionship and emotional support
- Helping clients maintain their independence at home
