About The Position
PurposeCare is seeking qualified, dependable, honest, and reliable On-Call Home Health Aides and CNA Caregivers to meet the needs of our clients. We have immediate openings for On-Call Caregivers who can provide companion support and caring assistance for our community's most vulnerable. PurposeCare is a leading provider of home care and home health services in the Midwest, serving over 3,000 clients monthly with coordinated care to ensure clients remain healthy and safe at home. Our mission is to provide essential support through excellent caregivers and innovative technology, enabling vulnerable individuals to live full lives within their communities.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years old.
- Positive attitude, great communication skills, and ability to work independently.
- Solid personal character with an empathetic personality.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass both a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must be comfortable performing personal care and grooming, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
- Must be able to begin your day at 6:00 a.m. based on the needs of the office.
- Successful completion of 59 hours of free online training through CareAcademy prior to your start date and 16 hours of hands-on training following your start date, proof of completed Home Health Aide Competency Evaluation Program, or a copy of your Indiana HHA license.
Responsibilities
- Provide companion support and caring assistance to clients.
- Perform personal care and grooming.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
