About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio. The start time varies based on your background and qualifications. We offer free training for those new to caregiving. All paths lead to the same job, clients, and support. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and a W-2 position, participating in E-Verify.

Requirements

• Driver's license
• Your own car with insurance that covers work driving
• Pass background checks
• Work at least 20 hours/week
• Available between 6AM-8PM
• Legal right to work in the US
• Must be at least 18 years old
• STNA license (active or expired) OR HHA certificate (30+ hours, signed by RN) OR 1+ year of experience working under an RN or LPN at a qualifying facility (nursing homes, hospitals, skilled home health agencies, assisted living with licensed nurses).

Nice To Haves

• Passed an HHA test somewhere else with 80% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Go to people's homes and help with daily life, mostly for older adults.
• Assist with baths, getting dressed, meals, light cleaning, and errands.
• Provide companionship.
• Help clients move around.
• Follow policies and report incidents within 24 hours.
• Answer office calls and texts quickly.
• Send updated documents when requested (insurance, license, training).
• Complete feedback forms when sent.
