About The Position

Home Care Network (HCN) is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide in-home care services to clients in Clermont County, Ohio, and surrounding areas. This role involves delivering direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities, performing light housekeeping, and supporting clients under the direction of a Registered Nurse. HCN prioritizes creating long-term employment opportunities and offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth. Requirements

• Active CNA or STNA certification + 1 or more years of paid experience OR Active DSP Certification from Ohio DODD + 1 or more years of experience caring for persons with disabilities AND willingness to care for non-DODD clients OR +2 or more years of paid home health experience for HHA or PCA without certification.
• Must be comfortable with clients of all ages and care scenarios, including school-age pediatrics and teens, young adults, adults, and seniors.
• At least 1+ year of verifiable experience in home care or caregiving setting.
• Successful completion of HCN's written skills test and/or competency evaluation.
• Meet/Completion of all training and/or certifications required by the state in which the home health aide services are being provided.
• CPR and First Aide Certifications (active/current certs preferred but may also be obtained prior to hire date through HCN or accredited third party).
• Willingness and aptitude to perform light housekeeping in addition to patient care services as needed.
• Ability to perform all main physical tasks on a regular basis, and willingness to do so safely, is required.
• Strong track record of attendance, dependability, and employment retention with previous employers.
• Good interpersonal skills and compassion for helping others live their best lives.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care, incorporating attention to detail in following instructions, documenting notes, and communicating with our agency.
• Professional character traits: reliable, honest beyond reproach, punctual, articulate, compassionate, detail-oriented (in care + documentation), accountable, friendly and accommodating, respectful, self-driven, problem-solver, compliant, and confidential.
• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Valid driver's license/ID and reliable transportation to/from client care locations.
• Consent and ability to pass a State and/or Federal Background Check.
• Willingness to consent to a background check, including a criminal record check, and an employment and education verification.

• Paid experience with a Home Health Agency.

• Specialized certification or training program, such as DODD-DSP, Med Certification, EMR/EHR, etc.
• EMR/EHR experience and proficiency (ContinuLink highly desirable).

• Up to 45- or 60-minute client travel radius (from your home) is highly desired for Part-Time caregivers and may be required for Full-Time caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Therapist.
• Perform services for clients as necessary to maintain personal comfort and safety in their home.
• Deliver direct patient care and support, following the established plan of care, to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Measure and record vital signs and other specified metrics as instructed.
• Assist with personal care tasks and activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, oral hygiene, nail & skin care, shaving, dressing).
• Perform household tasks essential to healthcare and living at home (e.g., meal preparation/feeding, laundry, light housekeeping).
• Assist patients in taking medications under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (e.g., opening a container or pill caddy and handing it to the patient).
• Identify and report any abnormal findings or changes in the patient's condition.
• Help with therapy exercises under the supervision of therapists (e.g., range of motion exercises, ambulation assistance).
