About The Position
Vi at Bentley Village is seeking a Home Health Aide for PRN (as needed) shifts. This role involves escorting residents in skilled nursing and assisted living to doctor's appointments, with a requirement of two weekend shifts per month. The Home Health Aide provides personal care and related services to residents in their home, including companionship, assistance with grooming and bathing, meal preparation, and housekeeping, while following a plan of care under the supervision of an RN.
Requirements
- Completion of 75 hours of training, including an introduction to personal care services.
- Current First Aid, CPR / AED certification.
- Must possess a valid driver's license if applicable.
- Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
- Must understand basics of personal care, housekeeping and meal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Escort residents in skilled nursing and assisted living to doctors' appointments.
