Home Health Aide - Daytime Shifts, No Overnights
About The Position
Haven Home Care is seeking Home Health Aides to assist people in their homes, primarily older adults. The role involves helping with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and providing companionship. This is a physical role requiring the aide to be on their feet and assist clients with mobility. The position does not involve administering medication or performing medical tasks, which are reserved for nurses. The work schedule is during daytime hours, with most care provided between 8 AM and 5 PM, and no overnight shifts are required. A minimum of 20 hours per week is expected, with shifts typically ranging from 2-8 hours per visit, often involving multiple clients across different days. Flexibility in scheduling is offered, allowing aides to specify their available days and times, which are then matched with client needs.
Requirements
- Driver's license.
- Own car with insurance that covers work driving.
- Pass background checks.
- Work at least 20 hours/week.
- Available 6AM-8PM.
- Legal right to work in the US.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- STNA license (active or expired) OR HHA certificate (30+ hours, RN-signed unless done online) OR 1+ year of experience at one company under an RN or LPN.

Responsibilities
