About The Position

Haven Home Care is seeking Home Health Aides to assist older adults in their homes with daily living activities. This role involves providing support with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. It is a physical role requiring you to be on your feet and assist clients with mobility. This position does not involve administering medication or performing medical tasks, which are reserved for nurses.

Requirements

• Driver's license.
• Own car with insurance that covers work driving.
• Pass background checks.
• Work at least 20 hours/week.
• Available 6AM-8PM.
• Legal right to work in the US.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

• STNA license (active or expired).
• HHA certificate (30+ hours, RN-signed unless done online).
• 1+ year of experience at one company under an RN or LPN.
• Ability to refer private pay clients.
• Ability to refer other Home Health Aides.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing and getting dressed.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Perform light cleaning duties in clients' homes.
• Run errands for clients.
• Provide companionship to clients.
• Assist clients with moving around.
• Work at least 20 hours a week.
• Be available during daytime hours (6 AM to 8 PM).
