About The Position

Right at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate Home Health Aides to provide companion and personal care to clients in Iowa City, North Liberty, Lone Tree, and surrounding areas. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and independence in their homes. No prior experience or training is required, as the company provides a comprehensive training and mentoring program.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Proof of Car Insurance
• Pass Background Check
• Ability to be reliable and dependable
• Desire to care for older adults, keeping them safe and independent in their homes

Responsibilities

• Provide personal cares- showers, dressing, assisted walking, transfers
• Assist with feeding, medication reminders, meal planning
• Follow agency policies, procedures, and protocols
• Provide companionship and engaging activities as appropriate
• Provide transportation as needed
• Light housekeeping, laundry assistance, transportation, medication reminders, meal preparation and participating in activities the client enjoys like puzzles or games.
• Clients may also need assisted walking, transfers, and exercises.
• Personal care includes help with bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
