About The Position
We are seeking a Home Health Aide for our Assisted Living facility in Blaine, MN. Schedule includes an every other week-end and alternate holiday rotation. Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis and Blaine, MN offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care and adult day services.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and documentation.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency, accuracy and competency in assistance with medication administration on a consistent basis.
- Ability to work independently and dependably to efficiently deliver care to meet residents needs.
- Ability to work with residents from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct personal care to our residents to help ensure their dignity and quality of life.
- Under the supervision of a RN, assists residents to complete activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, medications, transferring, giving medications and feeding.
