About The Position
Amada Senior Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide personalized, non-medical in-home care to seniors in Fulshear, Texas, and surrounding areas. The Home Health Aide helps seniors maintain independence, dignity, comfort, and safety at home while offering support and companionship to clients and reassurance to their families. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate caregivers’ availability and lifestyles.
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius to client homes.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Plan and prepare balanced meals and provide feeding assistance when needed.
- Help with light housekeeping, including laundry, dishwashing, and general tidying.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation, encouragement, and compassionate care.
- Encourage participation in routines and meaningful activities that support independence and well-being.
- Observe and communicate noticeable changes in clients’ conditions.
