About The Position
Haven Home Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHAs) to assist individuals, primarily older adults, in their homes. Responsibilities include helping with baths, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, and providing companionship. This role involves physical work, assisting clients with mobility. HHAs do not administer medication or perform medical tasks, which are reserved for nurses. The company offers free training for those new to caregiving and provides opportunities for pay growth through performance-based reviews and bonuses.
Requirements
- STNA license (active or expired)
- HHA Certificate holders (30+ hours)
- 1+ year of experience working under an RN or LPN at a skilled facility or home health agency
- Driver's license
- Own car with insurance that covers work driving
- Pass background checks
- Work at least 20 hours/week
- Available between 6AM-8PM
- Legal right to work in the US
- Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with baths and dressing.
- Prepare meals for clients.
- Perform light cleaning duties.
- Run errands for clients.
- Provide companionship to clients.
- Assist clients with moving around and standing.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Report incidents within 24 hours.
- Get good feedback from clients.
- Answer office calls and texts promptly.
- Send updated documents when requested.
- Complete feedback forms when sent.
