About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for immediate openings throughout Westchester County. We offer flexible work that fits your lifestyle, recognizing the vital role HHAs play in bringing comfort, dignity, and peace of mind to clients' homes. We provide support to our caregivers, just as they provide care to others. We have openings for 6-12 hour shifts, allowing you to choose a schedule that works best for you.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of HHA experience
- Valid New York State HHA certification
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Updated medical requirements: Physical, PPD/QuantiFERON or Chest X-ray, MMR
- Driver’s license and reliable transportation (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and emotional support
