About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in St. Marys, Pennsylvania. The role helps clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent through personal care, assistance with daily routines, and companionship. Caregivers follow each client’s care plan, communicate with the office about changes in client needs, and document completed tasks using an electronic visit verification system. The position offers flexible scheduling based on caregiver and client availability, onboarding guidance, caregiver training, and support from the office team. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving the client’s dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
