About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide weekend care and support for a paraplegic client in Columbus, Ohio. This is a weekend-only position, requiring availability every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role involves providing companionship, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care needs, offering supervision and respite support, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for the client. A key responsibility includes the safe operation of a Hoyer lift for client transfers. The ideal candidate will follow the client's care plan diligently and communicate professionally with all involved parties, treating the client with dignity, patience, and respect.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in home care, home health, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving.
• Reliable availability for every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Nice To Haves

• Experienced and comfortable with safely using and operating a Hoyer lift.
• Experience assisting with transfers and mobility for clients with significant physical limitations.

Responsibilities
