About The Position

Griswold Home Care in Venice is looking to hire a full-time Home Health Aide to provide elderly care and home companionship for our clients. This caregiver position earns a competitive wage of $19-$25/hr. Requirements

Reliable transportation
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts!
Willing to train.
Ability to provide compassionate elderly care and companionship.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude while helping with household tasks.

Responsibilities

Help clients manage daily living tasks within their homes.
Provide cheerful companionship.
Assist with laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
Provide non-medical care in a manner that preserves client dignity.
Assist clients bathe and maintain their personal hygiene.
Provide caregiving services for clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments.
Submit accurate documentation at the end of each shift.
Keep the office updated on any changes to clients’ care.
