PRN Home Health Aide – Flexible Coverage

About The Position
As a PRN/Contingent Life Care Professional (In-Home Caregiver), you'll step in when clients need care most, providing flexible, on-demand support that helps people live safely, comfortably, and confidently at home. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Age 18 or older
- Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience
- Availability Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, to cover temporary staffing needs, call-offs, and vacations
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 45 miles
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. independently
- Comfortable using smartphones/mobile apps
- Willingness to work in homes with pets
- Willingness to work in homes with indoor smoking
- Dependable, compassionate caregiver mindset
Nice To Haves
- Experience in home care, caregiving, or healthcare
- CNA certification or similar caregiver background
- Experience supporting veterans
- Experience with dementia, TBI, or spinal cord injury
- Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance (may be required depending on client needs)
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and daily routines
- Support mobility, transfers, and safety in the home
- Provide specialized home care for individuals with spinal cord injuries, TBI, dementia, Alzheimer's, and age-related conditions
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Document care updates using simple smartphone tools
- Communicate with the care team to ensure the highest level of home care
- Provide reliable, short-notice coverage for call-offs, vacations, and temporary staffing gaps
