Requirements
- Completion of 75 hours of training which includes an introduction to personal care services.
- Current First Aid, CPR / AED certification.
- Must possess a valid driver's license if applicable.
- Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
- Must understand basics of personal care, housekeeping and meal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and related services to Residents in their home.
- Escort residents in skilled nursing and assisted living to doctors' appointments.
- Perform tasks including companionship, assistance with grooming and bathing, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
- Follow the plan of care under the supervision of the RN.
