About The Position
BrightStar Care of North Miami, FL is actively hiring compassionate, bilingual (Spanish/English) Home Health Aides (HHAs), especially those with weekend availability, to join their growing team. They provide high-quality, personalized in-home care for seniors and adults who need assistance to live safely and comfortably at home. Requirements
- Active Florida HHA License in good standing
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CPR certification
- Current physical and negative TB test (within the last 12 months)
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug screen and motor vehicle background check
- Knowledge of HIPAA and commitment to client confidentiality
- Ability to assist with physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, bending, etc.)
- Weekend availability Required
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Accompany clients to appointments, grocery stores, and errands
- Support mobility exercises as outlined in the care plan
- Observe and report any changes in condition to the Director of Nursing
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
