About The Position

Sentara Home Care is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Home Health Aide. This is a full-time, day shift position located in Williamsburg, VA. Mileage reimbursement is offered for miles driven between patient visits. A personal vehicle and valid driver's license are required. Home Health Aides will perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.

Requirements

• CNA or Nurse Aide Certificate from accredited program (required)
• BLS (Required within 90 days)
• Basic and routine patient care
• Previous customer service experience
• Must have personal vehicle and valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the home.
