About The Position

BAYADA is seeking compassionate individuals to join their Personal Care and Companionship team as Home Health Aides (HHA). This role involves providing meaningful work to clients in their homes, supporting them with daily living activities while offering training, flexibility, and a supportive team environment. The position focuses on helping adults stay safe and independent at home by following a written care plan developed by a registered nurse. BAYADA is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality home care since 1975.

Requirements

HHA Certificate of 75 Hours or CNA License
CPR Certificate from an in-person class
A current Level 2 Background Check through ACHA
One year of work experience (any company, any industry)
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and toileting.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
Help with range of motion exercises.
Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
