About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring private duty caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to help seniors and adults remain safe and comfortable at home. This is a W2 employee position, not a 1099 contractor role or registry position. Private duty home care involves one-on-one client care, assisting a single client at a time with their daily needs to enable them to stay in their home. The agency is a local, family-owned home care agency operated by a husband and wife team. They are seeking caregivers who are dependable, professional, and kind. Pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, with potential for higher rates on select assignments based on client needs, schedule, location, and case complexity. This role offers direct client care in a home setting, W2 employment, office support, clear client information, case matching based on skills and proximity, and flexible shift options including weekday, weekend, daytime, evening, and some overnight shifts. Minimum 4-hour shifts are available, with 8-hour and 12-hour shifts possible depending on client needs. Same-day pay access is available through TapCheck, with direct deposit and referral bonuses also offered.

Requirements

  • Valid Florida CNA license or HHA certificate required
  • Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening required
  • Classroom CPR certification required
  • Completion of Florida required trainings, including HIV AIDS, Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias, and Assistance With Self Administration of Medication
  • Reliable transportation to client homes
  • Caregiving experience with seniors or adults who need personal care assistance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional and dependable attitude
