About The Position

Come work for a home health agency with A Higher Standard! This listing is for 4-6 hour shifts in both the morning and evening, with some weekend shifts available. We are currently hiring PRN, full-time, and part-time home health aides, caregivers, and STNAs. We have hours available and waiting. Whether you are looking for work while your family sleeps or your kids are at school, or just need to pick-up some weekend hours with a second job, we can find a place for you here!

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare or relevant experience
• Certified in CPR, or willing to become certified before starting work
• Have reliable transportation
• Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Empathy for the needs of the client
• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to express spoken and/or written ideas in English
• The ability to treat clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and present a positive public image.
• Work as a team member
• Ensure confidentiality and security of the client's medical information

Responsibilities

• Provide client care as directed by the Director of Nursing or Registered Nurse Supervisor.
• Observe clients, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed.
• Be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity, and safety of a client's care.
• Will not function in any manner viewed as the practice of nursing according to the State's Nurse Practice Act.
• Will not administer medications, take physician's orders or perform procedures requiring the training, knowledge and skill of a licensed nurse.
